As much as I don’t like hallmark holidays, I’m always happy to create guides that point people in the direction of conscious purchases. That’s why I wrote this list of vegan Valentine’s Day gifts: so you can give your vegan girlfriend or boyfriend a gift without risking his or her wrath (milk chocolate? A cute handmade teddy bear with a wool jumper?)
If you’re a vegan couple, this guide will give you a lot of cute ideas for all budgets.
$10 – $50 vegan Valentine’s Day Gifts
A cute purse for her or a sleek wallet for him is always a great choice for Valentine’s Day. And if it’s made of a sustainable and ethically sourced material, so much the better right? Corature produces cork accessories from cork that is discarded by the wine stopper industry: no animal or tree were harmed to make these cool accessories.
The Love Link bracelet represents the connection between you and your partner and it has a delicious minimal & industrial vibe to it. I think I’m gonna get it for myself (yes, I’m single. I’m going to celebrate my “singleness” on the 15th by myself, my new bracelet and a bottle of wine. :P).
The cute bag is by Gunas NYC. There are only two occasions to buy a sparkly sequin red clutch like this: New Years Eve and Valentine’s Day. Just get one for yourself or your girlfriend now or you’ll have to wait quite a few months for your next chance!
The avocado hugger is pure genius. Every vegan would want this in their life (and it’s a set of 2 so you can even keep one for yourself). Whether you need a nice Valentine’s Day gift idea for your boyfriend or girlfriend, this is the right one. You might also want to get it as a “funny” gift before you give him or her the real gift (if you’re into more expensive gifts, that is. I would be completely fine with just getting my avocado hugger!)
Do you have a vegan hipster in your life? The facial hair care set below is 100% vegan, cruelty-free and smells super good. Let’s be honest, it’s more of a gift for yourself than it is for him since you’re the one who’s gonna enjoy the super soft beard!
Last but not least, the simplest gift of them all but the most meaningful. For the die hard vegan activists only!
$50 – $100 vegan Valentine’s Day Gifts
Past, present, future: three rings that tell your partner how much you love him/her and that you want to be together forever. Just as this beautiful engraved cuff.
Are you into cute animals? Do you live with your Valentine? Then it’s decided, get her/him this cute panda love print to adorn your bedroom. Cuteness overload!
You could also get a simple “love scented” candle that will add that something to your romantic nights. A candle in a jar is always a good idea. Always!
She gets a self-care kit, he gets a self-care kit and everyone is happy!
Is one candle not enough? Get a three or four scented candle mix and sort your nights for the next couple of months!
$100+ vegan Valentine’s Day Gifts
We Wood is a cruelty-free company that is gentle to the body and is also kind to the environment: their watches are made of 100% natural wood and every watch you buy, they plant a tree. So why not give back this Valentine’s Day and get your partner a stylish ethical watch?
There’s something for him and something for her. Well, the cork yoga bag is actually unisex: give it to the vegan yoga addict in your life! The cute bag on the right is a Gunas vegan handbag of course: the Cottontail. Is your girlfriend not into pink? There’s plenty of colors available. And if she’s not into this type of bags, check my post about luxury vegan handbags to get some inspiration.
Why give her just one gift when you can give her a gift per month for the next six months? If your girlfriend is a makeup addict or if she wears makeup at all, the monthly beauty box by Vegan Cuts is your go-to gift. I mean, I usually give it to myself as a gift so it would be amazing receiving it from someone else (six months you guys! Six months worth of vegan beauty products!)
Nothing says “I love you” like a bag full of vegan chocolate! Vegan Cuts has everything you need to quench your partner’s vegan chocolate thirst (or should I say hunger? Whatever!). Get her or him a mix of chocolate truffles, bars and some other delicious stuff and s/he’ll be yours!
Whoever receives this mix will love you forever. I mean, I surely would.
You have exactly 14 days before Valentine’s Day: what are you going to get your special person? I hope you’ll choose an ethical and cruelty-free gift from one of the shops I mentioned: there’s no better gift than making your special someone happy while giving back to the planet and the animals!
